While it is true that we may not be able to see the stars from Los Angeles on some nights, what we do have are the flowers, the trees, the hills, mountains, beaches, deserts and valleys all in close proximity, so we get to witness the awesomeness of God in so many ways here in Cali every day. David is one of my favorites characters in the Bible for that very reason because he knew how to repent and come back to the Lord. He was not perfect by no means and he had some messed up kids!
