My name is LaShon and I am a California native. I have lived in Oklahoma since 2003. I grew up in South Central Los Angeles and I guess you could I say was “raised” in a Pentecostal church. I can remember being the church’s little “darling” that they called on for speeches, solos, drama roles and etc. Of course, when I grew up, I strayed away, like most church’s little darlings and did my own thing all through college and most of my adult life. In my adult life, I have been in and out of church. My walk has varied from being real strong to barely crawling. I rededicated my life (again) to the Lord in 2004. Even after rededicating my life to God in 2004, I still was not as “dedicated” as I should be. It’s just been in the last 8 months or so that I decided that it’s time to stop “playing church” and get busy for God. I no longer want to be in the “Christian Country Club” (where you just go to church and be entertained). I want to take an active part in harvesting souls for the Lord. This blog is my first step. Right now, I am a daily process and God is not done with me yet. That is the reason for the name, Daily Blossoms. Although, I may not post daily, I grow daily in the Lord.
